was actually 7-1 to Grove, a great performance in awful conditions. Took an early lead and Burnley struggled to cope with our movement and passing. 3-0 up at half time but to their credit Burnley kept passing and wouldn't let the game go, they scored a goal although it was a clear 10 yards offside, but the referee who unfortunately was poor today was a long way off the pace. At 3-1 for a 10 minutes the game was back on but we then managed to up the pace again and scored another 4 goals.

Great win and puts us top of the league thanks to Longsight.

Good game, played in good spirits in truly horrendous conditions!

yeah it was 7-1 to the grove!! another game grove didnt need to step it up a gear we were pretty comfortable from start to finnish 1st half we played some great football using the wings well and our wingers and full back movement on and off the ball was excellent!! creating some great chances for our strikers aswell as the midfielders 1st half we went were 3 nil knowing it could of been more.
2nd half burnley blue came out playin some great football through the centre on the park and they looked a completely diffirent team i was very surprised at that point we were playin a team with no points on the board yet i think what let them down was the final 3rd was there strikers they seem to have trouble understanding the offside rule and couldnt seem to finnish!
they were rewarded with a goal which was a mile offside lol then the score was 3-1 and we realised we were'nt playing to well we stepped it up a gear and hit 4 goals within the space of 20min's to finnish the game off.

just like to add good hatrick from ken well done... we played pretty well but we all know theres more to come UP THE GROVE!!
