Ambassadors 0 Pennington 0One of those games this one, and i don't think we get many 0-0 games in this league. Both teams seemed to defend well but not offer a great deal in the final third despite both teams having a reasonable amount of chances. Ambassadors did have the ball in the net late in the second half from a free kick (which was given when it was just a good tackle), but the referee made a good decision in the end as it was off side. Have to say the Referee was a bit of a homer, seemed to give ambassadors pretty much everything, but nothing that made a difference to the game. However if the ref had given ambassadors the off side goal i would probably have been quite frustrated, to come away with no points.

a good game which was enjoyable to play in. Agree with the above except to say that the referee was not a "homer" at all. I don't think its fair to make those comments and they are totally out of place in what was a good game played in good spirit apart from some unsporting kicking of the ball away.
