I'm sure someone will do a proper match report - from what i've been told it was a very tight game.

Really good game this. Blues scored first, but can't really remember much after that. We seemed to have the measure of macc, but to their credit, they kept pushing. Second half, macc scored immediately from a good build up. After that, we managed another to bring it to 2, but were then guilty of some slackness. 2 mistakes from the blues (both in the area) gifted macc with 2 easy goals after we were found guilty of underestimating them and not playing the ball out straight away. 3-2
A great game to play in, both teams worked very hard and made fair challenges all round.
In my opinion, the better team lost today, but thats what happens when we make mistakes. Hopefully we will learn from this and go on to get some points.

would first of all like to say thanks to blues for agreeing to delay kick off for 10 mins as we had a car with 4 players in get lost on the way up.
Glorious day for a game and pitch was in excellent condition.
We had to shuffle things around at the start as we were missing 4 people due to start but we pulled it together and gave as good as we got in the early exchanges. We subbed on the players when they arrived about 15 mins in. Blues dtruck first, we just seemed to switch off, a quick throw in from blues feed down the line to the blues forward and skipper who seemed to go unchallenged from just inside our half right into the box and tuck it away cleanly in the bottom corner. 1 nil. It stayed that way till half time with play finely balanced.
We shot out the blocks after half time and equalised within 30 seconds. Jonny Sherratt tucked away a well worked move. 1-1.
Blues went back in front after a long ball to their forward caught our keeper on his heels and he stuck it away easily for 2-1.
We then found our rhythm and worked hard to create some chances. We hit the bar and there keeper made a good save before we finally got a break through. A corner whipped in was spilled out into the 6 yard box and up from the back i was on hand to smash it into the net 2-2.
Burnley almost sneaked back in front, the brown haired lad who was supporting the one striker, who in my opinion was far and away burnleys best player fired a shot just wide of the left post after beating about 4 men! We then began to press and it was a sublime finish from Johnny Sherratt, a rifled shot into the top corner, unstoppable in any league! 3-2 Macc.
We defended stoutly for the remaining 10 mins to bring the points home.
I agree that Burnley will feel unlucky to come away with nothing but credit to Macc who worked hard and twice came from a goal down.
