Due to everyone getting lost we started the game with bout 9 players and played like that for 15mins and rode are luck but when the rest of team turned up turned the game on its head and got two quick goals one well worked goal and a thunder cracker from about 25 yards. The second half was fairly open although both teams missed chances on another day could have been a high scoring match! Throughly enjoyed the match and was some meaty challenges all over the pitch i particularly enjoyed the banter and challenge from huge burnley centre forward, who played the football the way it suppose to be played lots of commitment and strength but always with smile on his face, look forward to the second leg!
Very happy with the start, hopefully we can get some cohesion over the next few weeks and push on!

Enjoyed the game if not the result! good set of lads for the saints and special mention has to go to sales back 4/5 who made numerous tackles, blocks & clearances especially in the first half, for me they won they the match for the saints! well done, look forward to putting things right at their place
