Cup Prelim Pennington 4 Hazel Grove Res 1Game fairly even for the first 20 minutes Hazel Grove taking the lead from a free kick that just went through everyone into the bottom corner. From there Pennington just about started going with lots of pressure on the Grove goal but still not threatening. Equaliser coming a minute before the end of the half, great time for Pennington to score and Grove understandably discappointed not to go in still infront. Second half Pennington took control of the game with Penningtons quick forward causing lots of problems in the Grove back four and shortly into the second half he scored a second. From there Grove's heads went down a bit and Pennington scored a third quite quickly and then a fourth with a superb volley. Pleased Pennington have got through to the cup. All the best to Hazel Grove for the rest of the season. Game played in good spirit referee didn't have many tricky decisions to make.
