Cup preliminary, Burnley Greens 12-1 VinelifeThought I'd put our result on here as no-one else has! Really good game for Burnley Greens, by far the best we've played this season. the score line says it all really, although in truth the score could have been even higher were it not for a number of good saves from Vinelife's keeper (and 1 or 2 shocking misses  )
We play Vinelife next week in the league and I think I'd of preferred this win next week, as I'am sure next weeks game will be closer knowing Vinelife had some players out today.
Looking forward to next round, anyone know when the draw is?

Looking forward to the rematch next week! I heard Burnley were a very good team on Saturday and deserved their epic win. A number of our players were disappointed with the astonishing verbal abuse received (which I must admit sounds completely against the spirit of this league) but despite that said Burnley were worthy winners.

Sorry to hear that Jimbob, we will certainly look to address this as the last thing we want to be known as is an unsporting/unchristian team. That said a lot of our lads don't go to church (not that that's an excuse) and were responding to "niggley" comments and tackles as comes naturally!
I enjoy playing in this league and being part of the set up here at burnley. I think everything they stand for is excellent.
Look forward to catching up with you saturday after the game (which I'm sure will be an all round friendlier affair )
