NCT round 2 - South Manchester 7 v 1 RamsbottomWe played this second roundgame on the weekend of the first round ties as we both had a bye into round 2.
Was a great game to be a part of although not sure Rammy will agree. SMAFC scored first with Felix getting his first goal for us - defensive error gave him the ball to tap into the goal. Ramsbottom equalised a few minutes later after some of the SMAFC defence stopped thikning a free kick might be awarded. Dave Attoe then hit a great free kick and we went in to the break 3-1 up.
Once SMAfC scored their fourth then I think Ramsbottom heads dropped a little and we found more and more space.
Nice to get our season officially off and running and we can't wait for a trip to Essex or Cheltenham in round 3!
