Pennington 4 Firwood 0Fantastic result for Pennington. First half was really close with both teams having periods of being on top in the game, chances falling to both teams but non taken HT 0-0. Pennington making a change at half time with the forward line which proved decisive. The sub that came on scoring the first goal and then going on to score a hatrick. At one nil the game was still in the balance but after the second (A nicely struck 25 yard shot:-)), pennington taking control and going on to a comfortable victory. The biggest difference between the teams being Penningtons dominant centre backs (and full backs) keeping out Firwood. Great start to the season for Pennington.
