An astonishing game. Foundry clearly dominated the first half going 4-0 up. There football was nice and enjoyable. Firwodd got a goal back just before half time and the game changed massivly.
Firwood managed to pull back to 4-4 before foundry grabbed a last minute winner.
A fantastic game played in a great manor. A pleasure to play in! Firwood showed fantatsic gut to pull back level and could have even won it!
Thanks for the game Firwood. See you at our end!

@Nicko99 - yeah this was a cup game played last saturday
James is spot on, this was an incredible game. We were gutted to be missing our two centre halves who played in our last game against Foundry and we had to reshuffle a few players including putting our centre midfielder in defence.
Foundry started brilliantly whilst we seemed to be sluggish and almost always second to the ball. A few great long distance shots and some nice attractive football saw Foundry 4 nil up within the space of 30 mins.
At this stage it looked like it was going to be a humiliating defeat that would probably end in double figures. However, in the last five or ten mins of the first half, we seemed to improve a little going forward and forced a few decent saves from the Foundry keeper. I think with the last kick of the ball before half time we managed to get the ball in the net after a goal mouth scramble.
After a team talk that pulled no punches, the second half was like a different game - this time with Firwood having the best off it. Slowly but surely the goals starting going in and amazingly we pulled it back to four all. Both sides had chances to wrap the game up and both keepers made some fantastic saves. I'd thought we'd won it in the final minutes when a shot destined for the top corner was incredibly headed off the line by a Foundry player.
Then with less than a minute remaining, Foundry managed to grab a winner.
It was a fantastic game played in a great spirit. We were gutted to have lost, but I'm pleased that after going 4-0 down, we were able to come away feeling that perhaps we should have won it.
That's two cracking games we've had against Foundry and I expect we'll have another close game in the new year _________________ Twitter: @jonnylikes2rant
